A forthcoming film will have Daniel Padilla as the antagonist alongside John Arcilla.

Philippines’ MANILA The Guest, starring Daniel Padilla and John Arcilla, will start shooting at the end of the year, according to the award-winning actor.

The 2023 ABS-CBN Ball red carpet was held at the Shangri-La Makati on September 30, and John revealed to the media that Daniel will play the antagonist to his protagonist role.

Daniel Padilla and I will probably start filming a movie at the end of the year, he said. They referred to it as “a mind f’ck film.”

John also hinted that this would be the first production in which Daniel would serve as his antagonist and he would play the protagonist in its entirety.
The actor claimed that the movie is a psychological one, but he is unsure of its release date at this time. “Well, the filming is scheduled to begin toward the end of this year. I don’t know what the showing target is.

Black Sheep, a movie production company, revealed earlier this year that John and Daniel would star in “The Guest.”

Patrick Valencia, the author of “Always Be My Maybe” and “Labyu With An Accent,” will pen the screenplay, with fellow “Hello Stranger” screenwriter Kookai Labayen serving as creative manager. Jerrold Tarog, who directed John in 2015’s “Heneral Luna,” will direct the movie.

“Thrillers, suspense, and mindf*ck are my favorites. Then, Daniel responded, “Matagal na akong fan nu’n.
