Following the death of Francis Magalona, often known as the “Master Rapper,” fifteen years have passed, and new revelation has surfaced that validates long-standing allegations about his romance with Abegail Rait, a former flight attendant.
Abegail revealed the specifics of her connection with Francis on October 17, after remaining silent about it for the previous fifteen years.
She said that, in her opinion, the time had come to speak up for her daughter. She underlined the genuineness of their relationship and Francis’s love for her and their child in spite of the possibility of public criticism.
Following Abegail’s disclosure, online users reminisced about a 2009 statement made by Joey de Leon, a close friend and coworker of Francis Magalona.
Just before the rapper passed away, Joey revealed that he had gotten a text message from Francis, but he chose not to share what was in it.
He claimed that in order to safeguard the message’s confidentiality, he erased it.
Joey promised to divulge the contents of the text message when the time was appropriate, hinting that it was Francis’s final wish.
