Annette Gozon-Valdes, senior vice president of the GMA Network and president of GMA Films, announced that Vic Sotto has renewed his contract with the network.
Within the Show It was disclosed in my December 1 column for Pilipino Star Ngayon that the “E.A.T” host will maintain his or her appearances on GMA-7.
“Kaka-renew lang nila, and kena okay naman ang show sa amin,” Gozon stated.
She further stated that Sotto returned for a second season, as was their customary arrangement over the previous years.
“Open 24/7” is a weekend sitcom co-starring Maja Salvador, Jose Manalo, and Vic. Prior to that, he co-hosted the sitcom “Daddy’s Gurl” alongside the co-host of “E.A.T,” Maine Mendoza.
The GMA executive acknowledged the allegations that the host may be leaving the network, but Gozon stated that Vic has maintained a positive rapport with the organization for the previous two decades and eighteen years.
“Our relationship is magnificent, Vic. Gozon stated, “Ang tagal na naming magka-trabaho, 28 years na ‘yun.”
