As she ends Rafa Worldwide’s runway presentation, Nadine Lustre looks like goddess in red

Magazines and the red carpet display the greatest fashion moments. But nothing compares to those that occurred on the catwalk. The fact that actress Nadine Lustre walked the BYS Fashion Week 2023 runway served as evidence of that. The local fashion label Rafa Worldwide, headed by designer Raf Villas, showcased their creations on the first day of the fashion event. “Deleter,” the star, closed the “Hyperballad” collection.

Nadine, who was just back from Paris Fashion Week, wore a sexy crimson dress by the brand with elaborate beading and fringe. The “Hyperballad” collection, which explores exaggerated organic forms and patterns, has been captured in this look.

Raf claims that the collection is all about accepting oneself in spite of customs of society. It also honors the designer’s upbringing as a queer creative person in Angono, Rizal. Its hues of gray, chrome silver, black, and red represent in for his feelings.

“The collection is a graphic story that beautifully depicts the turbulent, intensely emotional journey of growing up,” the designer added. The anthology delves deeply into the severe emotional roller coaster that characterized those formative years. Essentially, this book celebrates the intensity of those crucial years of growing up while telling the tale of self-acceptance, resiliency, and the tremendous transformation that results from keeping true to oneself.

The collection’s focal points include fringes, intricate beading, sculptural pieces, distressed treatments, and tensioned materials. Raf made it happen by repurposing materials including upholstery linens, denim, magazine pages, and plastic. The end product is a collection of cutting-edge sculptures that honor the grace of the human body.

“My goal is for the pieces on the runway to captivate and elude the audience, inspiring them to be creative and provoke thought,” Raf stated. “My ultimate objective is for every audience member to create a unique interpretation of the collection that is uniquely their own. My desire is for people to have an engaging and imaginative experience, where they can relate to the designs on a deeply meaningful and personal level.
