Robby Tarroza, a well-known showbiz figure and creative director currently residing in the US, has questioned the validity of the marriage between the late Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona.
Tarroza, who currently resides in Southern California, claims that prior to her relationship with Francis, Pia was already married to another guy.
Tarroza argued in a recent Facebook post that Pia’s previous marriage and her two children with a Mr. Lim should refute any idea that she and Francis broke their vows when Francis allegedly made love to Abegail Rait, a former flight attendant.
“WALA KASI TAYONG DIVORCE SA PILIPINAS!!!! But even with kasal, ang tanong, WAS KIKO MARRIED TO PIA???! No, she was married to another guy with last name Lim and they had a son, Niccolo and daughter Unna, Who Many of us knew this! Pia huwag ka magpabiktima! grabe ka! No one broke up your marriage dear! You were never married in the Philippines!” said Robby.
Tarroza underlined that Pia shouldn’t present herself as the victim of adultery because she and Francis might not have been legally married. He made the point that there are doubts over the nature of Francis and Pia’s union because divorce is not recognized in the Philippines.
Robby Tarroza’s disclosure casts doubt on the conventional wisdom of Francis and Pia Magalona’s relationship, leading to a reassessment of their marital status. Pia has not yet addressed Tarroza’s assertions.
