Philippines’ Manila Actress Kathryn Bernardo is now the Filipino celebrity with the highest Instagram followers, surpassing fellow Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis.
As of this writing, Kathryn has more than 20,140,000 followers, which is over three million more than Anne had.
The increase in followers is hardly surprising given Kathryn’s busy 2023, which included her high-profile breakup with longtime partner Daniel Padilla and her smash film comeback in “A Very Good Girl” starring Dolly de Leon.
For the first time since their breakup, Kathryn and Daniel were seen together in public during the December 13 ABS-CBN Christmas Special at the Araneta Coliseum.
Concurrently, ABS-CBN declared that Anne would be the star of her first teleserye in nearly ten years, a Philippine version of the Korean series “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay.”
