PAGASA declares the Amihan season starts

“Amihan” refers to the cool, dry northeast wind that flows down from Siberia and China to Southeast Asia during the holiday season.

The state meteorological service stated, “With these developments, the northeasterly wind flow is expected to become more dominant in the country, bringing cold and dry air.”
