Palace: October 31st is not scheduled to be a holiday

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) states that Malacañang has not yet decided to proclaim October 31 a holiday.

According to the Office of the Executive Secretary, Cheloy Garafil, the PCO secretary, informed media at Palace yesterday that there was no plan.

The barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections are held before to October 31.

President Marcos proclaimed October 30 to be a day off from work so that Filipinos could take part in the polls.

November 1st is All Saints’ Day, a special non-working day.
