Ex-Vice Mayor of Valenzuela City, Arrested by NBI

MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested the former Valenzuela City chief executive for filing a complaint by a British national on the collection of multi-million dollars in an investment scam yesterday in the same city.

Evelyn ‘Jing’ Hernandez, 58, of Consolacion St. Malina, Valenzuela City.

He was announced by British national George Gorgiui who invested for the Bulacan airport project.

He said that P7 million people were given to Hernandez as of 2022. The suspect’s offer to him, he would give him P50 million of income in each P3.5 million that he would invest, but the time passed without giving any income on his investment.

NBI-AOTCD chief, Atty. Jerome Bomediano, who was not thought at first by the alien to be intimidated by the suspect because he was formerly the viceroy of Valenzuela.

Despite Hernandez, there is also a real human business but it is only delayed because of the completion of the project of the parish. Gorgiu only dreamed of getting his income so he was arrested.

But according to Bomediano, the basis of their investigation is that Hernandez and the alleged construction company received the investment without a license.

So he advised investors to first examine the listed company with the Securities and Exchange Commission if this is legitimate. If only a human alien does research on the Internet, he will find that there are previous cases facing Hernandez.
