Comedian Vice Ganda was always making jokes about the OPM band Kamikazee, who were allegedly kicked out of the event they were scheduled to attend.
Recall that Kamikazee declared they would be performing at the Sorsogon Kasanggayahan Festival. Nevertheless, Sorsogon Governor Boboy Hamor said that the band would no longer be performing live.
The governor was apparently disappointed when the band declined to take a picture at one of the most visited tourist destinations in Sorsogon, according to a talent coordinator who worked with Kamikazee.
After the event, Hamor pledged he would not allow Kamikazee to return to Sorsogon.
The governor emphasized that although he continued to pay the band’s talent fee, he would no longer permit them to perform because of their purported rejection of his request.
Vice, who was also present at the event, couldn’t stop talking about what had happened to the band and even sang one of Kamikazee’s most well-known songs.
Vice abruptly changed throughout the performance, fusing a foreign song with Kamikazee’s Narda while singing a song by Taylor Swift.
The audience applauded enthusiastically at the performance.
In contrast to what Kamikazee is supposed to have done, he also stated that he was prepared to comply with the governor’s request.
As of the moment, Kamikazee has not provided an explanation for their ordeal.
